A Poem of Thanksgiving

Psalm 77:19- Your way was in the sea. Your path in the great waters and your footsteps were not known.

Thank you for the good Thank you for the bad And for all the blessings The ones I have had You given me so much And you I will serve You've been my true friend Though I do not deserve Thank you for trials Thank you for the storms For purifying fire That inwardly transforms Though there's a valley Through thorns and briars You appear with me In the furnace fire Thank you for your hope Thank you for your way Even though life is hard You are with me today I am in your hands Surrounded by love Your Spirit comes To me like a dove Thank you for the cross Thank you for your plan From the foundations Where my life began I may go through fire I may go through sea But I know one thing You are always with me
