Do we hear what we want to hear?
Do we create our own messes?
Do we listen to our own fears?
He who has ears let him hear
Surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses
We must throw off all that hinders
We can see clearly without guesses
He who has ears let him hear
Today our skin appears to be thinner
A seared conscience believes a lie
With many today the light grows dimmer
He who has ears let him hear
In the wasteland under the desert sky
In the hard place of transitioning
But by His Word we will not die
He who has ears let him hear
The Spirit will move us with a quickening
He turns the wasteland into pools of water
May we choose in our hearts to be listening
He who has ears let him hear
In the desert we will become stronger
Only tune in on that sandy road
In that place we must build an altar
He who has ears let him hear
In your fire He will change it to gold
If we only submit to His will
It's up to us what story will be told
He who has ears let him hear
