Jesus came to His own
But they left Him alone
They rejected His Word
And labeled Him absurd
Music was played by chance
Yet they refused to dance
Then a sad dirge was born
Yet they refused to mourn
The Savior in that day
They wanted in their way
In their hunger and thirst
Their right role was reversed
Revival comes again
Some will say it is sin
We have a decision
God's way or religion
He will come to His own
There the light will be shown
We will see what we hold
Is it fake or true gold?
