Job 23:10- But He knows the way I take; when He has tested me. I will come forth as gold. There is a Job trial A test of all tests History suggests Where there's no denial Job was richly blessed But then felt the knife In the storm of his life Crushed down and pressed He saw peace become strife Sudden calamity Fearful insanity His blessings took flight Torn away canopy Misjudged by his friends A man no one defends But kept his sanity When it feels like the end Or so you've been told There God refines your gold His ear He will bend Job's faith did not fold Through all the distortion Gained a double portion Blessing he would behold When trials don't shorten In the dealings of God When you feel His rod His arm is not shortened
