(A poem about Bette Midler's stance on the anti-abortion law in Texas)
Rome burned and had a fiddler
America is falling and has Bette Midler
No more bettes please
No more bettes
Protecting the unborn
She likes to forget
Is there any resistance
As she speaks from a distance
And as the unborn life she scorns
There lies a fallen rose and only thorns
That’s middlin Midler for ya! ☹️
