(Numbers 13)
Only two out of twelve spies believed
Of the other ten God was grieved
Ten out of twelve only saw giants
Depending on their own self reliance
Unbelief kept them from the promised land
God's power they did not understand
Unbelief in our hearts can hinder us
It can sadly lengthen our wilderness
Israel gave themselves over to their fears
Eleven days became forty long years
Though they carried the cluster of grapes
Negative words became their mistake
Even today there remains a division
Between the Spirit led and those who choose religion
Will we listen intently to where this applies?
Will we be like the two believing spies?
