Selling Truth

Truth was once bought

Truth is now sold

In our society

Today truth is old

With immorality

We are lenient

Now with hard truth

It is inconvenient

So truth is sold

Men purchase lies

Men do what is right

In their own eyes

There is a way

That seems right to man

House built of rock

Yet foundations of sand

Beautiful stones

Masterful design

Yet corrupt within

This moral decline

Decadency

It is the norm

But this house will fall

In the coming storm

Yet men choose blindness

It seems so strange

In spite of beliefs

Truth does not change

Men still embrace

The evil and absurd

Abandoning the truth

Forsaking God's word
