The Absence of Fathers

Where are the fathers today in our land?

Where are those men who will live as God planned?

Where are the shepherds who will feed their flock

Where are the spiritual men who walk the talk?

Men have given up, they have said "Why bother?'

Now it's rare today to find a true father

We see selfish examples again and again

But today have we lost all the manly men?

Words by most men just fall to the ground

Now effeminate men everywhere abound

This fatherless generation with fathers who roam

Fathers exist but no fathers in their home

In our society today where many walk by instinct

It seems that true fathers are going extinct
