Numbers 9:15-23
Over the tabernacle rested
The cloud and the fire
Israel waited until they moved
It's what God would require
Where the cloud and the fire settled
The people pitched their tents
They knew without His holy presence
Their journey made no sense
At times the cloud would rest for a month
Sometimes only for days
Sometimes it would rest for a whole year
But it was all God's ways
Today we may not observe the cloud
Or the pillar of fire
But we possess the Holy Spirit
He leads if we desire
The Spirit of God that lives inside
A truth we can ponder
Because without His divine leading
All we do is wander
