The Lord was not in the wind
He was not in the earthquake
Though the rocks would split
Though the ground would shake
The Lord was not in the fire
Though He created the flame
In those things Elijah was tested
Before the Lord called his name
It's easy to chase the wind
Or some emotional high
Before His voice is revealed
Before the Lord draws nigh
We can feel the warmth
And be amazed by the fire
But inside of our hearts
Is the Lord our one desire?
The church today sees the wind
The music can shake the ground
But for His soft still voice
I hunger to hear that sound
