Through the Valleys


(Psalm 23:4) We go through the valleys We go through the night We pass through the tunnels When we lose our sight In spite of tests and trials We will again see the light What doesn't make sense What does not seem clear We hold on by faith We resist all the fear Knowing in the darkness Our God is still near We experience storms But they do not last One day they plummet The next day they've passed Don't fear the dark valleys Or the shadows they cast Hold on to God's hand Though around you is gloom Keep on moving and walking You will come out of your tomb For as you keep walking Beautiful flowers will bloom In the shadow of death It may seem God withdrew It's darkest before dawn Before the old is made new Valleys will not be forever You will always walk through
