Tumbleweeds

When all you see is tumbleweed

And all you taste is sand

Keep walking on through the desert

Towards the promised land

Tumbleweeds will roll due to wind

Across the desert floor

Many believers are like them

With no roots anymore

See them rolling in the desert See them roll in their tests

They refuse to remain grounded

So they will not be blessed

Are you dead like the tumbleweed

That rolls in the heat?

Blown helplessly by the strong winds

In a life of defeat

These weak spiritual tumbleweeds

In churches see them lie

They roll again with each shifting wind

Under the desert sky

How lengthy is your wilderness? Only God really knows But will you resolve to blossom As the lone desert rose?
