Psalm 32:9- "Do not be like the horse or like the mule, which have no understanding, which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, else they will not come near you."
There is a story of a stubborn mule
And those who listen will not be a fool
That poor stubborn mule had to be shaken
Or he would not move or be awakened
He had to be pulled by bridle and bit
Or that poor mule would be content to sit
Stubbornness can quench the Spirit in you
It will hinder and block your path on through
Mules are everywhere, you just have to search
Stubborn mules grazing even in the church
Can we respond quick to the Spirit's voice?
Do we need to be yanked to make that choice?
We must listen to this important rule
We must not become like the stubborn mule
