Bowling in Socks

I wanted to live out of the box 

So I went bowling in my socks 

And in my socks I bowled that ball

I stood there proud, I stood there tall

The ball went flying out of my hand 

My socks were slippery I could not stand 

I slipped and slid down that lane

I fell on my side, I felt the pain

I slid down the lane like it was butter

I slid myself right into the gutter  

Some people laughed and some people jeered

But I didn't think for once it was weird

Yes it was not easy bowling in socks

But I'm sure it was easier than bowling in crocs
